Courses offered by Erasmus + create possibilities to fulfil the mission of our school. We are planning long term activities which aim at the development of young people in the European dimension. The first step of our plan is to improve our teachers' language competence in order to enable them gaining confidence in communication. At the same time, English teachers attending methodological courses and courses with using ITC will have a chance to improve professional development. Participation in job shadowing, both teachers and headteacher, will let the participants, share the experience and knowledge. We hope, it will have an impact on school quality and as a result will be transferred to our students. In the current project, the main objective is to increase the teachers' communication skills and competence as well as the English teachers' improvemement and enrichment of training. Finding possible partners for future cooperation is our indirect goal. The project will be attended by 14 participants, teachers of different subjects: Polish, History, English, Biology, Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Music - for some of the teachers it is planned more than one mobility.The first step of the project is to fill in an application form and hopefully obtain the approval of the National Agency. At the same time, we are looking through offers of the courses and the options of accommodation . Before the start of the courses the teachers will receive necessary support to help them while staying in a chosen country .After the courses we will evaluate the participation and its results. We will draw conclusions and we will implement gained knowledge and teaching skills for the teaching process. The coordinator of the project is the head teacher .We strongly believe that participation in Erasmus + will benefit not only for teachers but also students and school .Developing language skills will contribute to the fact that a larger group of teachers will be able to participate in a wide range of activities available within the framework of Erasmus+ ( job shadowing, students and teachers' exchanges, methodological courses and conferences). We also hope that taken activities will let us encounter with potential partners. The relations established during courses will result in better effects in ways of teaching. What is more, the relations will allow us to discover new solutions and methods as well as give mutual inspiration which comes from sharing experiences. The participation of teachers and then students in European projects will let our school meet European standards and our learners will feel equal to their peers from other countries. Skills and knowledge gained in school will let them overcome barriers and finally function in the United Europe without any fear or stress. The school will also benefit from comparison based on a variety of contacts with other European teachers and their ways of teaching leading to our professional enrichment. It will enhance the image of the school in the local society as moderrn, innovative and open -minded - a school of European dimension.
