In the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme, we have organised a programme with the aim to provide further training for experts teaching trades on a high demand in Hungary (welders, structural welders, tradesmen) at companies and schools. The programme was given the title "High-Level Vocational" and, according to the feedback received from the experts, its aim has been achieved very successfully. The work programme, which was scheduled to meet the needs and expectations of its participating partners, was an excellent foundation on which the concept of mobility could be put into practice. Further benefits of the programme included the opportunity to study dual education, the establishment of communication between theory and practice experts, the improvement of their cooperation and the establishment of new relations. Besides the aim of the project, the decision to choose Leipzig (Germany) as the programme destination was motivated by the excellent relationship between our chambers. The interpreter provided by the chamber helped the participants understand and be understood in the German language, the division of the group into smaller ones enhanced the efficiency of the training, the visits paid to plants offered a professional outlook, while the programmes at the local vocational school enabled the direct studying of the dual training scheme. Before the trips, the participants were prepared and informed about their host, the aspects which they were requested to study during the training, their reporting obligations and the trips themselves. The support contracts had also been signed before the trips. Group I: 30 November 2014 – 6 December 2014, welders and cutting machine operators, 12 people The report of János Garaguly, one of the participants, provides an insight into the details of the vocational training studied by the group: “At the Borsdorf Training Centre, we were given a comprehensive overview of the German education system. Our field training began with visits to the local training sites. At the Centre, we studied the different welder training courses and processes. Following a short accident prevention course, we got to know a number of welding and cutting procedures – both in theory and practice. In the welding cabinet, we had the opportunity to try out, besides traditional steel welding, the welding processes for chrome, aluminium and copper. Of the welding processes, we were informed about and tried out flame welding, manual consumable electrode welding, gas-shielded welding, consumable and non-consumable electrode welding, submerged arc welding, pipe welding, thermite and laser welding, water cutting and carbon electrode cutting. Following the theory part of the course, we had to perform well-prepared tasks. In several places, check-forms were also attached to the task description, so students could also do their self-check on a step-by-step basis. Plant visit: we visited a company called Axmann in Zwenkau. In Leipzig, we visited IFTEC, where we were introduced into the details of the repairs, maintenance and renewal of track-based vehicles. The programmes were held in a timely manner and in high quality.” Group II: 12 – 18 April 2015, with 18 trade experts participating – ZAW Leipzig GmbH Just a few examples from the truly rich professional programme – our experts got to know the most novelties in the areas of logistics and online trade: • Visit to a vocational field practice site – Standort Schkeuditz • Company visit: marketing management, distribution activities, security devices, stock register – “Chefs Culinar Ost GmbH” • Company visit, Internet shopping and online trade – Spredshirt Leipzig “This company is an excellent example of how a small organisation founded by college students becomes a well-known company, which the founders can manage very successfully via the Internet.” • Company visit, Internet shopping and online trade – Mercateo • Company visit: distribution activities, novelties in logistics, stock monitoring systems, online trade (medicine trade) – Noveda Taucha “Commissioning is performed in a conveyor belt system, whose stock monitoring unit automatically generates orders. When observing the packaging process, we saw state-of-the-art items of equipment that are not yet used in Hungary. It was interesting to see, for example, that the code reading scanner was attached to the worker’s arm rather than him holding it in his hand, which enabled him to work more efficiently. Finally, we must point out that the participants not only thanked us for the programme, which they found truly useful and informative from a professional point of view, but also indicated that they would be happy to take part in similar projects in the future. I think this was the real recognition of the programme. On 25 August 2015, the President of the Chamber gave the participants their Europass Certificate Supplement at an official handover ceremony.
