Our institution provides administrative secretary training based on matura examination. We consider transferring marketable knowledge in our specialised training classes essential as well, which is why we emphasize the development of digital skills, teaching of business English, and obtaining proficiency level professional theoretical and practical knowledge. We wish to submit our application for the mobility of 15 14th year students participating in administrative secretary training and 2 accompanying teachers in order to enhance the up-to-date professional knowledge and skills of our students. The mobility would take place between 29 January and 18 February 2017, according to our plans. Six of the participants are disadvantaged. We have chosen the UK as the target country of our mobility project because it represents a more advanced level in terms of administrative processes, methods and technology and we are therefore convinced that the mobility project to be realized in Portsmouth would effectively support the institution in achieving its priorities. During our project comprising of 3 weeks of work placement abroad we intend to achieve the complex development of our participants. Our system of targets includes transferring up-to-date theoretical and practical professional knowledge to our participants, supporting their work-based learning and developing their digital and foreign language skills in a native speaking environment. We wish to provide our students with an opportunity to apply their practical professional knowledge in an English speaking working environment and to deepen such knowledge in the course of work based learning.Regarding content we aim to familiarize our students with efficient administrative methods and processes, different document types, keeping files, management of electronic documents and the use of related software. It is important to us to provide flexible learning paths that follow the changed needs of young people and to open up to internationalisation. Due to the structure of the training of administrative secretaries, foreign languages have emerged as a shortage area at our institution as well, in our case the teaching and learning of English in the 13th year. In spite of this students must give an account of their knowledge of a series of themes in English at the vocational examination and the labour market also requires the knowledge of at least one foreign language. Our institutional development objectives include the integration of the knowledge acquired in the UK into our curricula, the transfer of up-to-date information to our students and the promotion of our institution among young people interested in administrative secretary training following their Matura examination through the use of the results of the mobility project. Our mobility project is also an important motivational tool in the fields of improving academic results and reducing drop-out.The placement completed abroad is taken into account for the continuous placement requirement. Training Vision Ltd. ensures the involvement of enterprises and firms providing places for practice which cooperate as optimal partners in the achievement of our objectives. We wish to deepen and broaden the marketable knowledge of students participating in administrative secretary training with the help of such places for practice and our project. In addition to the places for practice, providing accommodation and full board, local travel cards and transfers are included in our partner’s tasks.Main points of the project:1. completing the application form, submission, 2. negotiation with our partner3. signing the contract4. selection of participants5. preparation of participants6. organizing transport7. finalization of the training programme8. informing participants about the travel 9. implementation of the mobility 10. completion of the project11. dissemination of resultsThe accompanying teachers will perform complex tasks in the course of their 3 week stay abroad and will contribute in many respects to the implementation of the mobility project. Besides supporting the students, they will follow the completion of the work programme, carry out evaluation tasks, collect and systematize new experiences and well performing methods seen during the mobility project, which we may incorporate into our trainings once they are transmitted to the faculty, thus enhancing the quality of trainings at our institution. As a result of our project, our students’ professional knowledge will increase, their professional, foreign language, digital and personal skills will develop, and they will become acquainted with British specificities, among others. Our participants will succeed more easily on the labour market with the help of the knowledge and skills acquired in the course of the project and they will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness and more efficient functioning of their future workplaces by applying their knowledge.
