In an increasingly global, knowledge-based economy, the need for a greater understanding of Intellectual Property management is crucial for business success. Few opportunities exist for individuals and SMEs to enhance their understanding of how best to utilize IP, acquire existing IP, or incorporate IP into a business strategy. Whilst information on the importance of IP protection and enforcement is widely available, there is a shortage of training resources on how or why to exploit IP. This project is intended to fill the above gap, and aims to provide a comprehensive training program that will assist individuals, universities and SMEs in developing optimum IP exploitation strategies for their business.
