In the On the Way Forward to Europe -project WinNova's students from different fields are doing their on-the-job-learning -period abroad. Period lasts four weeks. Host organizations are from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Norway, France, Slovenia and Denmark. In the project ECVET documents, Memorandum of Understanding and Learning Agreement and Europass CV and Europass Mobility, are used. Aims of each mobility are planned in cooperation with host partner. The aims as knowledge, skills and competence are defined and ECVET points used. Learning reached during preparation and non-formal learning is also recognized. Teachers' exchange periods last one week. The host organizations are the same as in students' mobility. Teachers are supporting students during their first week. They have also their own aims: working in host school or in company and getting to know work safety instructions and practices.There are also job-shadowing periods for some teachers. Purpose of job-shadowing is to get to know new partner organizations as learning environments and their pedagogical methods. During job-shadowing period future possibilities of cooperation are discussed and planned. Teachers are also giving information about Finland, satakunta region and WinNova and finnish schooling system, especially VET.
