PROJECT SUMMARY
The organization promoting the project, CIFAES-URPF. It is a nonprofit association whose task is the recovery of life in the villages and the enhancement of rural culture. Encouraging the development of projects that promote sustainable activity, investigating sustainable ways of working the land, and training on all aspects of rural life that respects the traditional way of life in rural areas.
SUSRURLIFE Amayuelas Project 2014 is a volunteer program in which participants experience all these facets of a model of sustainable living, while collaborating with the promoter in the day.
For 8 months, Sarah, Murilo and Luca develop, with the support of trained professionals, a host of activities in the field of organic farming, bio-construction, Waste and Recycling. Recovery research and traditional knowledge. Improved communication tools, etc. While that would be integrated into the estates of community participation. And they learn, to practice, to self-manage all facets of their daily lives.
All this would allow an internalization of a model of sustainable life based on everyday attitudes of respect and rational use of natural resources, learning traditional rural work and personal development from experimentation.
OBJECTIVES
Achieve in participating:

- An improvement in their standard of RESPECT FOR DIVERSITY are developed and assimilated
- A high level of self-management of domestic life from a sustainable perspective.

- And in parallel there will be impregnated with its mark to this small rural community and the other nearby, promoting the values ??of respect for diversity, the environment, and participation as a means of personal and collective development.
A part of everyday collaboration in the tasks, in the long term, we expect young people to improve our external dissemination mechanisms, extend to other places the positive image of our initiative, and transcends the idea that a model of sustainable development rural is possible and advisable.
For the project a grant of ? 16,515 was requested.
The profile sought in the selection of the volunteers:
- Young open to join very different from their own daily realities,
- Concerned about the deterioration of the environment and rural life.
- Willing to develop high levels of participation and self-management.
- And willing to relocate, without complexes, their skills and interests in their contacts with the population of the area.
