"Sustainable Living Lab" is an EVS project which promotes active involvement in community life, self-sustainability, finding harmony with yourself, with other people and nature.. For 10 months, in Denmark, 2 young volunteers from Italy and France will spend their volunteer period in Ananda Gaorii Ashram, Farm and Learning Center in order to gain experience in the fields of community building, aquaculture, peace, sustainable agriculture, social dialog, local economy, harmony with nature and other people, while they enhance their personal and professional development and empowerment.By being active part of the local community, volunteers will have opportunity to learn using non-formal methods such as "learning by doing", developing their personal projects, facilitating and supporting workshops and seminars, experiencing community life in eco-farm. We hope and trust, that this project will provide participants with skills and motivation to improving their life style, raising their awareness in fields of inter cultural respect, rural development and health as well as having visible and positive input in local, danish community by promoting cultural equality and respect towards other people, supporting sustainable forms of living and educating local youth about opportunities which bring European Commissions programs.
