Survival in the city

The project "Survival in the city" is a youth exchange involving four partners from Poland, Italy, Romania and Hungary. Each country will be represented by six young people supported by two team leaders. To a large extent the project participants will be young people with fewer opportunities with problems in education, coming from poor families, where there is unemployment, violence, etc.. Overall, the project will be attended by 32 people. The project will start in January of 2015. The exchange will take place between 26-31 January 2015 in Stargard Szczeciński in West Pomerania voivodeship. Stargard Szczeciński and its surroundings are an ideal place to carry out such a project. The city is located on the Ina River, surrounded by forests. A few kilometers from the city lies Lake Miedwie. The theme of the project will be widely understood ecology, sustainable development and survival. The topic of the project is connected with participants' interests. The aim of the project is to make people aware of their attitudes, choices made and their consequences for the future of our planet in terms of sustainable development, climate change, protection of biodiversity and survival methods. Classes in the project will have a varied form of workshops, discussions, presentations, international evenings, building feeders for forest animals. A large part of the course due to the project will be held in the open air in the Hunting Club Daniel, which was an informal partner of the project. The project will have a significant impact on participants in the project, since the project will become more aware of their decisions on environmental issues. After completion of the project in the partner countries will be ecological debate, which will cover topics related to environmental protection with the use of materials produced by the participants, including a video of the statements of the participants.
