The project entitled "Supporting Employability in Creative Way" will last for 4 months. Training course as a main activity will be organized in town Sabac, Republic of Serbia and will be hosted by Udruzenje Svetlost. Training course will last 9 days.
By this project we want to respond to problem of youth unemployment and to show in creative way the importance of growing requirement for high skilled jobs and how to connect youth with and world of work and with social business initiatives with a slight emphasis on the green jobs.
Objectives:
- to improve knowledge and skills in promotion of high skilled jobs, employability and connections with world of work of young people by using innovative tools: visual art, music and urban gardening
- to explore and to increase the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship as well as integration of youth with fewer opportunities to be more active in the society
- to raise awareness and contribution of youth to creation of a favorable environment for the development of social business with a slight emphasis on the green jobs
- to develop young people's skills and to empower them in promotion and launch of new quality projects, both within the frame and outside of Erasmus + programme
- to enhance inter-cultural awareness
The fight against poverty and social exclusion are highlighted in the Europe 2020 strategy. Partner promoters continuously work on building a stronger relationship in the field of youth work among different organizations. Tools (visual art, music and urban gardening) are close to interests of young people to express their creativity with possibility to share it very easy with other youth. This could be an effective tool easily understandable and workshops will not only be focusing just on skills but on on fostering mutual understanding and changing the attitudes. While exploring the concept of social business we will also look for the ways how to activate and integrate youth with fewer opportunities in the community life and our successful outputs will be shared with different bodies and organizations for further use. The course methodology is built entirely on informal and non-formal methods. Also, visibility of Erasmus+ in South-East Europe will be increased.
In the medium-term perspective the local communities of all partners will benefit in the increasing number of young people engaged in activities which promote high skilled education, entrepreneurship and integration of society’s most fragile members to contribute to the creation of a favorable environment for the development of social business with a slight emphasis on the green jobs. And in the long term perspective projects like this one will contribute to national and international policy reforms and will have a systematic impact on education, training and youth in the countries involved in the projects.
Partner countries: Italy, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, FYR Macedonia, Albania, Poland, Portugal and Germany, 3 participants per country.
