Specifically targeting guidance specialists, the project aimed at providing new and pioneering strategies to allow those working with disadvantaged adults to better identify the learning needs of their clients. Developing guidelines for the counselling of disadvantaged adults, the focus was upon sensitising and better informing guidance counsellors on how to identify or detect skills development needs in working with clients with low-levels of basic skills training. Activities centred round the hosting of a series of national and European-level training seminars for guidance counsellors. Key outputs included the hosted seminars alongside guidelines for the counselling of disadvantaged adults.
