The youth exchange involves partners from six countries: Lithuania, Italy, Spain, Estonia, Croatia, Slovakia. In total there will be 30 participants plus 6 group leaders. We are aiming to increase intercultural understanding about the features of successful young person across cultures. We aim to explore ways how to develop personal traits and skills needed for reaching the success in the life of young person. The project has the following objectives: 1) To explore diverse understandings about successful young person in different cultures of partner organisations 2) explore and understand ways how young person can preach his goals, how to develop skills and personal traits for developing self-confidence and grit in reaching goals. 3) To promote participation of young people in all stages of this projects and in this way experience what does it mean to define and reach goals, to manage internal and external resources. The objectives will be reached through 4 main stages: local preparation, advance planning visit, youth exchange and dissemination of results. The project will impact on 3 different levels: for participants, organisations and communities. The methodology of the exchange is based on non-formal education principles and will allow development a range of generic competences like creativity, language skills, teamwork, intercultural competence. Organisations will positively benefit from the project by acquiring partners for future youth work activities. They will have a chance to invest to personal development of young people. It’s a chance to involve those young people later on in variety of future activities of organisations. By implanting various online and residential dissemination activities we aim to reach more than 10 000 young people.
