The project will create and develop a digital-visual dictionary of sign language for the support of vocational training of deaf and hearing-impaired young people. The project will use an existing technology platform and build a dictionary from vocational examples and cases identified by partners. The focus of the project will be to create a digital-visual record accompanied by text in both English and indigenous language. Dissemination of the product will include presentation to peers at international conferences as well as supporting a Web page, providing access to the digital repository for download and local storage by deaf and hearing-impaired young people, their trainers and supporters.
