Together with partner organisations in Finland, Ireland, Greece and France aha - Tipps & Infos plans to organise a Study Visit on youth work in Vorarlberg. The idea is to give 14 youthworkers from organisations with various youth work backgrounds a platform to meet, exchange experience and network while getting an insight into different realities of youth work in Vorarlberg by visiting different organisations active in a variety of fields (youth information centre; youth centre with cultural youth work, youth employment projects, youth work with minor refugees; EVS co-ordination and other international projects; youth volunteering project; peer to peer youth work; youth & politics; youth work in rural areas).The partner organisations deal with different issues and needs in their work such as youth information and counselling, youth work in small communities, international youth work, youth cultural work, youth participation and volunteering. While exchanging experience on these individual work realities which all aim at promoting empowerment and active citizenship of young people - especially in rural areas - is one of the objectives, another goal is to network and to establish and tighten contacts for future common projects while getting an insight into youth work as it is done elsewhere.The visit is planned to take place from 14 to 18 November 2016 in Vorarlberg.
