Throughout this projects, The National School of Political Studies and Public Administration (NUPSPA) aims to establish and initiate the activities of an Excellence Centre on the problematic of the new approaches of European Union towards the Neighbourhood Policy, with emphasis on the impact of the current institutional reform on the economic, social and political development and integration of partner countries. The purpose of this project is to enhance and deepen the knowledge upon the importance of the ENP within the European Union Enlargement approach and also on the role of EU as a global economic and political actor, among the following categories of stakeholders: students and young researchers, business community, representatives of central and local administration and NGO’s that activate in the EU studies field. Within this proposal we state the following objectives:- Foster research on the development of the European Neighbourhood Policy and the future impact of the present reform on the role of EU with a more and more globalized world - Enhance knowledge among young researchers specialized in complementary study fields- Develop the EU study field of neighbourhood policy- To share knowledge regarding the ENP and its current reform among business community, representatives of public administration and civil society
