The project unites organizations of familieswith hearing impaired and deaf youngpeople in Lithuania and Latvia that sharecommon interest to improve qualificationof their leaders and encourage younggeneration to become more active in sociallife by strengthening their organisationalmanagement skills.The main project results are establishednetwork of organisations of families havinghearing impaired children and young deafpeople, improved project writing knowledgeas well as raised public awareness onhearing disability issues, all contributingto the diminishing of isolation and higherself esteem of the disabled. The followingproject activities are implemented mainlyin Bauska (LV) and Šiauliai (LT) regions:organisation of psychological trainings,practice sharing meetings, 2 summer camps,project writing seminars and establishment ofthe website.
