The project 'STREET - ART - INTERCULTURAL HAPPENING' is a youth exchange that will be realised by our youth group from Mragowo and Ketrzyn. The program is scheduled for 7 working days during which 40 young people from 5 countries: Poland, Latvia, Hungary, Slovakia and Turkey will exchange their experiences, but also learn about their ’street art’. The main topics of our meeting is focused on different street art elements, like music, theatre, video, graffiti and the freedom to create.
'STREET - ART - INTERCULTURAL HAPPENING' is a project through which we want to explain, present, and prevent stereotypes concerning with street art, showing its artistic expression and power. In a common development of our project take part young people from our partner organizations interested in different street art and its possibilities.
The international environment of creativity will help us for the development between the partner organizations and young people during the exchange. During project implementation we will use non-formal educational methods, artistic workshops, presentations, street performances and intercultural activities. Every participant will be able to discover, learn and share his own knowledge and experiences about the phenomenon of 'street art'.
Thanks to the international character of the youth exchange, participants will create a mix of common European awareness and citizenship, their positive criticism and a sense of tolerance for others, other nations and for the representatives of Roma.
The final result of our young project international artistic group will be a street event - 'STREET - ART - INTERCULTURAL HAPPENING' - prepared and realized by all project participants in public places of our town Mragowo.
