We will host 8 volunteers for 1 year from 7/09/2016 from different European countries as we believe in young people, in the added value they will bring to the various activities we offer and in the experience of personal growth and learning that we can offer then doing an EVS in the social sector. We expect to host open-minded volunteers, who want to experiment themselves in more than one service and activities, to improve or discover their skills in the social sector in order to live a mutual cultural enrichment and meet other young people to live a significant cultural exchange between peers useful as life learning experience. Volunteers can develop the project in various areas:1 DISABILITY AREA: inclusion of the volunteer in the educational activity day of the 5 daily services participating in the various and different art workshops, sports, music, socializing, etc. proposed by each service, establishing a positive relationship with users by strengthening their autonomies, supporting their participation in the activities and providing them opportunities for recreation and wellness offering during the year's project one or more personal activity bringing their culture as an element of enrichment. 2 COMMUNITY 'AND SOCIAL PARTICIPATION AREA: the activities on the social and community theater the volunteer will participate in theater workshops conducted in the centers of the disability area of Stranaidea and also outside of it, in schools and other centers for the disabled; will participate to the projects on community theater events on the local urban and extra-urban territory. We expect a motivated, personal and stimulating involvement by volunteers, a mutual enrichment both for the benefit of our users and of the local area and to increase our professional experience to improve more and more our way to host volunteers and the possibility to establish and strengthen quality partnerships for the success of EVS hosting and sending projects. The main impact of the project and the potential benefits in the long period will be on the hosted volunteers as EVS is growing and personal development, cultural and possibly professional considered as a life long learning experience; on our users that volunteers will enrich and support from a human point of view by their presence, actions, a different cultural approach; on Stranaidea as organisation working in the European field improving our experience and professionality; on the sending organizations and the consequences the volunteer could bring on the local territory as he/she go back home; on both organisations for the possible new partnerships with other E+ projects. Finally, also our local territory and especially our young people will benefit from the meeting with the European youth as this will also give them a more European awareness.
