During the project "storyteller" the Volunteer will get to know lots of young people in Oldenburg while supporting the organisations every day youth work. As soon as the volunteer is accepted by the youngsters she will start a videoproject: Youngsters will tell her an important story of their lives while preparing and eating their favourite plate (german word Teller, doble sense of storyteller). The volunteer will collect stories during more than half a year. The youngsters are pleased to tell two stories: a nice one and a bad one. Finally all these stories will be connected to one movie. In fact many migrants will be asked to join the project and a main focus will be on refugees stories. Politicians will be confronted with the outcome and we want them to answer these youngsters concercing their living circumstances. Most of the refugees are not allowed to work or to go to german courses. We want that to be discussed in a construcitve way via a video plattform online.
