STEP INTO MY SHOES
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: Sep 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

?STEP INTO MY SHOES? Project summary Conflict is a normal part of any healthy relationship. After all, two or more people can?t be expected to agree on everything, all the time. Learning how to deal with conflict - rather than avoiding it - is crucial. When conflict is mismanaged, it can cause great harm to a relationship and it's easy to end up in a vicious downward spiral of negativity and recrimination, but when handled in a respectful, positive way, conflict provides an opportunity to strengthen the bond between people. The aim of project ?STEP INTO MY SHOES?? was to learn and practice skills for conflict resolution and to promote tolerance and empathy of young people. By learning these skills people could keep their personal and professional relationships strong and growing. To reach the goal, the participants had to learn to build relationships based on tolerance and trust, to understand the matter from an other person?s point or view. The activities were organized in order to develop ability of accepting the different, finding a compromise, keeping everyone?s opinion respected and staying motivated until the conflict is resolved. The target group of this project were young people aged 18-25, potential victims of conflict situations in different areas of life, Non-Governmental organizations, youth groups, culture and art groups, e.t.c.
