The project’s 'Step Forward for Better Future!' mission is to support European young volunteer's personal development and to promote available initiatives and non-formal education activities for young people and children from Rustavi city in Georgia. The project will extend the local youth and children opportunities to realize themselves in physical and intellectual fields. Hosting organisation, Georgian Youth for Europe is going to host 1 long term and 10 short term volunteers from Estonia, from Involved NGO as follows: - Long term EVS project will take place in Rustavi, project dates: 01.09.2015-31.08.2016 (duration: 1 year) - Short term EVS project will take place in Rustavi, project dates: 01.09.2015-30.09.2015 (duration: 1 month) 50% of young people for short-term EVS project will be young people with fewer opportunities (facing economic, geographical and/or social obstacles). Project will give volunteers from Estonia and local Georgian youth a possibility to exchange their experience, their views on numerous issues, thus breaking down any stereotypes, eliminating prejudices and experiencing similarities and differences between different European countries. Both organizations aim at giving young persons more skills, competences and knowledge for future prospectives in order to be more competitive in the labor market. We also foster international learning and mutual understanding.
