The project includes making one intergrated curriculum regarding mathematics and reading for students in both the preeschool and elementary school in Hrísey. Goals will be set for all students from age 1 to 16 in both subjects. These goals will be used in working towards a coherent and continuous study enviroment as well as to assess the student's position and learning process. All the teachers in the school will participate in the project. By applying for erasmusplus the plan is to go to England on a study tour and learn about different ways of teaching in order to meet our goals. The purpose is for the teachers to get to know a new environment and to participate in lessons that have shown to be productive. Also we want to get in contact with someone who would be prepared to be our coworker in the process of intergrating resourceful ways of teaching to meet our goals. In our goal setting we want to emphasise to our teachers to get to know ways of teaching that have been proven to be useful and meet todays requirments.
