The main goal of the project is to enable development of professional and language skills and gaining valued, foreign experience by participants. Secondary aims are: learning how to work in team and acquiring knowledge of the history, culture and traditions of the host country. These goals corresponds with aims of Erasmus +: contribution to raising the level of key competencies and skills to meet the needs labor market; contribution to language skills improvement and promoting linguistic and cultural diversity in the EU; expansion of international dimension of education and training. Participants will be 40 students of secondary technical and vocational school: advertisement organization technician, car mechanics technician, computer and surveyor technician (secondary technical school students) and car mechanic and hairdresser (vocational school). They will be students of second, third and fourth year- on advanced vocational training level, supplemented by school internships completed already in the country. Implementation of the project will begin with promotional campaign, then recruitment process. After the completion of traineeship preparatory classes, participants will leave for a three-week long internship in Barcelos, Northern Portugal. Group No. 1 will go for internship in March 2016, group No. 2 - in August 2016, group No. 3 - in October 2016, group No. 4 - in November 2016. After completing internships and returning to school, students will fill reports in computer system, prepare presentations about participation in the project and create an exhibition of interns photographs taken during traineeship, participate in a conference summarizing the project and disseminating its results. After taking part in the conference, students participation in the project comes to an end. Hard results of the project: - Completing preparatory course for the internship; - Receiving by the project participants Europass Mobility documents; - Receiving by the participants English course certificates, carried at school as part of the preparatory class; - Receiving by the participants certificates of cultural and pedagogical preparation for internship; - Receiving by the participants Portuguese course certificates, carried during stay on internship; - Receiving by the participants internship certificate, issued by the partner organization; Soft results of the project: - Gaining new qualifications and developing earlier acquired skills which will participants increase chances on labor market; - Improvement of language skills; - Extending the ability to use information and communication technologies; - Increasing participants chances on labor market - on national and European level; - Rising professional and personal aspirations; - Increasing motivation to continue learning; - Increase in discipline, sense of duty and self-reliance; - Gaining experience necessary for staff to implement new projects; - Increase prestige and attractiveness of the school. With the implementation of the project we will use methodology procedure developed in previous projects, based on a clear distribution of workers responsibilities and principle of continuous headmaster supervision of all project activities. From the first stage (specifying objectives of the project) to the last (dissemination and closure of the project) documentation will be collected and project team will have clearly defined responsibilities. Through participation in the project trainees will develop their vocational and language skills, and after graduation, will become valuable and eligible workers; their employers will increase competitiveness on market also because of young employees knowledge and experience. This way, the project will have a positive impact on employers competitive position. Through this project the school as institution will gain experience in international cooperation, increase its prestige and popularity, which should improve recruitment. Project partner will also expand knowledge and skills useful in development of international business. Schools and partners staff working on the project, will get to know people raised in different cultures, which will contribute to increasing sensitivity to issues of intercultural dialogue, diversity of habits and behaviors in different European countries.
