Staże zagraniczne - uczymy się od pionierów.
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project prepared by the partner group “Foreign internships - learning from pioneers” provides a month long vocational practice for 16 students within the educational branch: technician of renewable energy appliances and systems, who are studying at The Automotive and Construction School in Głogów/Poland and at Internationales Institut fur Landwirtschaft, Umwelt und Technik Bonn-Berlin in Paulinenaue/Germany. Students, who participate in this project, come from Głogów and some smaller towns and villages located nearby. The duration of the project - 24 months, aims at participating of two groups of students in this practice: 16 students of the second class in the first year of the project and 16 students in the next year of the project’s lasting. Each group will be accompanied by a theoretical subject’s teacher of renewable energy appliances and systems and a German language teacher. The partner group consists of our school and ILLUT-BB in Paulinenaue. The practice will be held from 13.09.2015 till 12.10.2015 and from 1.09.2016 till 10.10.2016. The project lies in principles of the ECVET system- during a meeting in Paulinenaue / Germany both project’s partners discussed and worked out the most important issues of marking the students and accepting their studying effects and gained competences during this practice. The Erasmus Plus priorities such as development of multilingualism and investment in society’s education will be taken into consideration. Foreign language training before the practice plays especially important role (i.a. : online courses on European Commission’s platform, additional classes at school and language skills’ development during the stay in Germany). An important element of our project is the fact that students have to fill in a language skills paper and a social skills paper three times. The students will learn how to build a realistic portrait of themselves and their skills. A foreign practice will bring our students such benefits as: a) knowing the benefits of dual learning system, b) gaining practical vocational skills and improving their German language competences, c) developing key competences: working in teams and in groups, d) stimulating creativity, mobility and initiative of all participants, e) developing interpersonal abilities among students - learning how to cooperate in a relation of an employer and employees, f) knowing the functions and the structure of German technical institutions and companies, g) getting the opportunity to improve language skills, shaping the openness and intercultural sensitivity, showing and accepting the cultural and mental differences, h) developing independence, punctuality and responsibility for the tasks given to students participating in the project. All the actions are planned with the object of attracting the stay in Germany to students. We intend to organise some cultural trips to Berlin and Potsdam. Our school will profit from realisation of the Erasmus+ Project as well. We can widen our educational offer and attract new students to come to our school and join the new educational branch (opened in 2014) - the technician of renewable energy appliances and systems. The local environment will benefit from it, because the region will gain citizens who are well-educated according to the labour market. Moreover, the employers will have well-qualified employees with developed foreign language skills. By realising the project, our school will complete the recommendation of National Action Plan which concerns spreading knowledge about renewable sources of energy. After the vocational practice students will get a certificate, and on the basis of the practice register teachers will copy their grades from the vocational subjects. They will also get Europass-Mobility. When they come back to school, together with their careers officer they will work out the Europass CV. Another important asset summarizing the project realisation will be developing the Youthpass certificate and giving it to the students. The certificate is to support the individual process of alternative learning. Approving the key competences through the certificate, Youthpass aims at maximizing the employment of young people and of those who work with young people. It also shows and supports active European Citizenship. All the documents that were mentioned establish an important value added and will help young people while looking for work and entering the labour market. After the vocational practice we hope to widespread our actions and popularise modern educational branches among young people. We also hope that our participation in the project will let us apply for accreditation for experienced proponents. We intend to organise internships every year and to become a modern school, geared toward long-lasting international partnership.
