PROJECT
FINISHED
The project "Apprenticeship in European Union" will be realized in the form of two-week training of 40 students of our school of gastronomy, horse care and landscape architecture profiles, in companies which deal with above mentioned branches in England (London) and Italy (Bologna).
The chosen partners are organizations which operate in education and professional development. They have a lot of experience in organizing international mobility of students, young workers, graduates, educators and teachers.
The participants of the project are students at an early stage of vocational education, at the technical grade. The project answers the needs of students and work market of Malopolska region: according to the employers’ organization young people who finish school have far too low professional experience. Our students mainly come from Nowy Sącz and surrounding small villages, with big unemployment rate. Because of that there is a demand for self-employment – creating companies which offer attractive services. Chosen profiles are connected with the development of the region where tourism is dominating. Before the apprenticeship students will be provided with the language cultural and pedagogical preparations and logistics support (journey, accommodation, local transport, tutoring). The training will be held in carefully selected companies according to vocational profile. The apprenticeship will be monitored by the representatives of ZSP and Partners.
Additionally students will be supported by mentoring system to ensure the best quality of training. During apprenticeship students will gain new professional abilities, see ways of running companies and organization of service market of partner countries. As a result students will be more open on new experience, aware of the need of lifelong learning. They will be more mobile on the European work market. Experience gained during work placement will be valuable in the educational process in a Polish vocational school
The project realizes the needs connected with the school curriculum and taking into consideration the demands of the changing market.
