The project beneficiaries are students of the third-year of The Complex o Economics School in Częstochowa. The trainees will be going to Italy and Germany. Thirty two students studying towards secondary diploma in economy, trade and tourist service will undertake a 3-week placement in Spoleto, Italy. In the course of the placement the students will learn about work organization, modern techniques of customer service, selling and promoting, circulation of documents. In addition to better vocational skills and insight into the functioning of hotels, trade companies and travel agent's the students will have an opportunity to observe the Italian labour market and the requirements of Italian employers. The beneficiaries will be assigned specific tasks in order to show their own initiative. The beneficiaries will visit a number of successfully operated firms. Two-week placement in Germany for beneficiaries studying towards diploma in economy and freight forwarding allow them to gain their first professional experience related to the use of specialized software and organization of work in shipping and insurance companies in Ludwigshafen. The trainees will familiarise themselves with corporate document drafting and distribution procedures. Considering a very high unemployment rate in Częstochowa region, better qualifications, confirmed by the certificate of a foreign internship will raise employability of the students after graduation. The experience gained during the placement should stimulate the entrepreneurship of beneficiaries, their creativity and self-confidence, which combined with professional competencies will increase their competitiveness not only on the local market. What is more, the beneficiaries will improve their language skills, and will have the chance to learn the culture and life of the region. The participation in the project will be also an opportunity to gather interpersonal skills extremely important, especially in the aspect of intercultural communication.
