The project ”IT traineeship through transnational mobility” targets the initial VET training of 30 students from the National College of Informatics ”TraianLalescu”, Hunedoara, Hunedoaracounty.These 30 students are from the 11th grade, theoretical branch, real profile, mathematics – informatics specialization. After passing the professional competence exams, these students will be qualified as assistant programmers. The sending organisation CNI ”TL”will be named from there after ”beneficiary” and the firms DSi Spain and L. Lazarou CTC receiving organisations. The intermediary organisations are from Spain and Cyprus: MEP europroject Granada and OPEI Cipru The project answers the need of improving the training opportunities so as the participants will achieve better professional abilities which are necessary for an easier transition from school to an active life. Also, the project could facilitate their insertion in the labour market.The placementin receiving organisationsanswers the following specific needs:- development of practical activities in firms- contact with advanced hardware and software techniques, using new and advanced versions which could facilitate the development of an innovative and creative spirit- opinion and information exchange with experts- establishingtransnational bonds with european labour marketWith their placement in receiving organisations the participants will develop abilities, knowledge and skills such as:- hardware - software knowledge, data storage media, computer networking, media transfer information,- skills in using specific functions in structured data processing, performing basic processing data using adequate techniques and instruments to develop a software problem application,- skills in developing and creating a media assisted application for specific programming,skills in using data bases).Through direct contact with firms, the students could see how these firms work and will develop their capacity to elaborate and apply a project, to work in a cooperative and flexible way, the capacity to initiate and to have a positive response to changes, capacity to identify strong and weak points, to evaluate and to take chances in different situations, thus getting antreprenorial knowledges.Targets:1. Improving professional competences that are representative for a secondary qualification of an IT specialist and development of theircompetitivity, to facilitate their transition from school to an active life and their better integration in the labour market2. Developing their creativity, adaptability, innovative spirit and critical thinking through contact with a new social, economical cultural and linguistic enviroment. 3. Acquiring antreprenorial skills and competences which could lead to establishing their own firm in a near futureThe curriculum from the students working programs are included in the curriculum of high schools with the theoretical branch and informatics specialization approved by OMECI no. 3410/16.03.2009 for Informatics subject.Results:Improvement of skills, knowledge and practical skills- training and enrichment of linguistic, cultural, social skills, of cooperation and collaboration of participants- developing antreprenorial spirit and a better self confidence- growing chances for labour market integration- Deliverable items: 2 didactical movies, 3 PP presentations, 30 project presentations on CDs, 10 posters, 100 fliers, 1DVD that contains presentation algoritms created during the course, 2 tutorials for Java script and MySQL- workshops organized by the participants for high and secondary school students- composing an informative brochure.
