The school which is well- established in a country area mainly turned towards wine growing and the tourist industry should open up to Europe in order to share its skills and knowledge transferable from a school system to another one.
The school educational initiatives and skills will be enhanced in every single action led in a European partnership. The opportunity for the appointed candidate to consolidate her oral practice, her discursive and language skills, her cultural and historical awareness about the United Kingdom and the different European school systems and school curriculums is essential for our school to initiate future cooperations between teachers. They will be able to compare , reinforce and improve their own teaching and communication training.
Due to these exchanged new ideas for good practice in the classroom and newly shared communication training while on the LFEE Europe immersion course in Edinburgh from July, 5th to July, 12th 2014 (the Secondary School Teachers of English course programme is enclosed in the appendix), the applicant Miss Capéran -English teacher Head of the European classes in year 10 and 11, fully involved in the"Oral English Club",is appointed for her listening skills and her stimulating involvement regarding the opening and the decompartmentalization of her subject at school.
Very new practice ,gained ideas and methodological expertise will be spread among the school staff after the course and our pupils will gain confidence through language. Thus, they will develop new skills and will learn how to be more broadminded, self-sufficient, curious, motivated and critical.
The cooperations started abroad will be submitted to the school project and will be visible with the actions led in partnership via Etwinning, through school exhibitions in public places, in the library, relayed by the local radio ,press and even the school newspapers.
Many long-term advantages coming from European partnerships, inside and outside school cooperations will be our greatest assets and will provide greater international share and opening for the participants, what is written and coming from the Education Board, that is to say the multilingualism working-out at school.
