In the context background of the contemporary society we can all feel the necessity of raising the awareness of the main needs in education among teenagers. Meanwhile, they need to be motivated in order to participate actively in their own personal development and in the partnership between school , family and community. In this sense, we set as a priority the development of the Erasmus+ project: "Let's say STAND UP! for education" within The Transportation Technological High-School Ploiesti, a type of organization where one can easily notice the need of immediate action, in order to maintain itself within the most prestigious schools with an old tradition in the technical/ vocational education. Last but not least , it is high time to start the process of inclusion in the European network of schools. Taking into consideration that it is the teachers those who can firstly initiate this kind of change and imprint a refreshing trend to the entire organization, a team consisting of 12 registered and experienced teachers was formed in order to participate at mobilities , aiming at achieving an European professional standard. The project team set the following plan of activities: -pre- mobility activities :travel, accommodation, insurance, safety and protection of participants, visa, social security, mentoring and support, preparatory meetings with partners. -the mobilities themselves ( 5 days mobilities, in different periods of time of each group, over a school year) in European countries : Italy, etc. -post-mobility activities focusing on :evaluation, monitoring and dissemination. These activities will be organized, developed and closely monitored by the project team, so that the impact on the school, students and the teachers' own personal and professional development - to be the expected one - the development of our organization in terms of quality, results requiring the proper place among the prestigious national schools and internationalization. The members of the team are perfectly aware of the fact that maybe the most the most important parts of the project are those following the mobility itself: the implementation of the acquired competences and knowledge, the evaluation, the dissemination and monitoring of the results. Therefore, the dissemination process is to be a complex one, gradually made at different levels. We are confident that participating at these activities we will have the chance to meet colleagues of different nationalities but with the same needs regarding the their profession and students. Together we can initiate an exchange of experience, methods and professional issues in order to preserve our professional and organizational identities. We strongly believe that this project will be only the first step in the process including our school within the European network and putting the basis of a strategic partnership.
