Our project is a youth exchange that will gather 5 groups of 5 to 6 participants, including some with specific needs or fewer opportunities, from Belgium, France, Italy, Estonia and Montenegro. This diverse group will discover how local initiatives can be an answer to the social, economic and environmental challenges we are facing today. The young people will tackle the notions of solidarity, sharing, entrepreneurship, active citizenship and will spread a collective message thanks to national tales and shadow theatre tecniques. The participants will meet in Marche-en-Famenne, where they will share their national tales and how present are local initiatives in their own country. Once the ground is set, they will enrich their reflection by meeting with experts and local initiatives from semi rural and urban area. When they have enough knowledge and a agreement about the different notions tackled, they will create a shadow theatre play which they'll perform in Marche-en-Famenne main square. Due to the composition of the group and the theme of the project, our youth exchange is in line with general framework in the field of youth, designed to support the participation and inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities. It will participate to the improvement of key competences by its participants, including those with fewer opportunities.
