PROJECT
FINISHED
The partners agreed on prosecution of the cooperation after follow-up to the successful project “Let’s us learn and inspire each other” (COM-REG-2013-005) in the programme Comenius Regio Partnership. The partners decided for involvement of new partners from Slovakia. Altogether, 9 partners from 3 states – Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia – are members of the project. Each country is represented by the town, school – established by the town – and sport club. The towns are smaller with number of inhabitants from 3500 to 14000; the schools have from 150 to approx. 350 students. The students of the schools are of similar age. The sports clubs don’t have too many members too and they are related to the schools. The subject of the ended project was the non-traditional sports and their dissemination among young people. The project exposed some ways for engagement of the general public in sports activities, and the new project includes them in their objectives. It is focused on the connection of cycling and indoor cycling, work with digital technologies, creation of trails for cycle simulator and practical realization of the sports activities as well. During these activities, the students will develop their organizational skills and the will try to work in fictitious travel agency. Priority of the project is mutual exchange of experiences with foreign partners, and inseparable parts are mobilities which serve for acquiring of knowledge and verification of them in practice. The mobilities will be realized by camps and learning/teaching/training activities. The objective of the project is development of communication, informatics and entrepreneurial skills. Other objectives are dissemination of the participant awareness about partner regions and attachment of European sense of belonging. The important activity is also advancement of dialog between generations. The participants of the project will come from students and teachers of the schools, members of the sports clubs, employees of the towns, and it will be related with the municipal general public as well. All of the participants will be able to evolve their abilities in informatics technologies and they will have option to try interesting sports activities. The students will develop their organizational abilities and obtain also entrepreneurial skills. The participants of the project will be positively motivated to acquire the skills by an interesting way. The opportunity to participate in international competitions, races or rides on cycle simulators will be attractive for a lot of participants, therefore, they will want to manage work with simulators or to organize sport competitions. The most considerable benefits of the project are connection of healthy lifestyle and sports activities with unformal acquiring of digital skills.
