SWITCH is a youth exchange project with two main objectives: 1) Providing the framework for the young women taking part in the project to enhance their skills and competences, so as to be more employable. This project will lead them to realise of the need to take ownership of their own personal development, so as to make use of all opportunities they have from now on until they reach full time employment. The activities in the project will be aimed at fostering self-empowerment, self-esteem, a spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship and multilingualism. 2) Fostering healthy behaviours so that the young women understand the role that outdoor activities, sports, healthy eating and the relationships that are fostered through these activities play in their development and well being. Equity and inclusion will be implicit themes in both skill development and healthy behaviours. Young women from different cultural backgrounds from Catalonia and Manchester will take part in the exchange.
