Youth exchange “Sport as a tool for inclusion” is a non-formal program for young people aged between 16 and 25 years. The program will be hosted by Kekava Municipality Sport Agency in Latvia in partnership with organizations from Hungary, Lithuania, Italy, Portugal and Greece. The aims of the program are following:- Facilitate sport as a educative, integrative methodoligical tool that can be applied to promote social inclusion;- Facilitate knowledge about EU measures in the field of sport, youth, as well as to promote youth involvement in to the sport activities in local and European level.In order to achieve set goals, the program of the exchange project will use nonformal education methods – discuss about sport, social inclusion/exclusion, term people with a fewer opportunities, will learn to apply developed skills into the practice, generate new project ideas that would promote youth involvement into sport activities, will learn what social and learning skills can be gained by practicing different kind of sports, will meet the local organization representatives.The expected result of this project will be developed knowledge and skills how to use sport as a tool for inclusion, promoted active lifestyle beteen youth. Program will encourage participants to become more active and socially responsible members of society. Methods used will be learning by doing, workshops, presentation of group work and work together. This youth exchange will be held in Kekava region (Latvia) and will run over nine days, from the 19th till 27th March 2016. The exchange will have 31 participants including their leaders.
