,,Spielen kennt keine Grenzen - Spielen als internationale Sprache''
Start date: Jul 1, 2016, End date: Jun 30, 2018 PROJECT  FINISHED

The DAA - Vocational Schools for Social Pedagogy in Aalen and Goeppingen have been educating and qualifying child care workers, kindergarten teachers, and nursery nurses for almost 5 years now. As part of this on-the-job training and full-time schooling, we want to provide the future state-certified social assistants with the opportunity to make international experiences abroad. Those experiences are meant to improve the language skills and to provide the participants with an insight into other educational systems and various pedagogical approaches internationally. The realization of a project in the field of “play“ enables participants to actively take part in the process of education and caring abroad. The different aspects of “play“ and their pedagogical effects enable an easy implementation and realization in foreign institutions. It also guarantees good conditions for a quick integration process. Thus “play“ becomes the international language. The projects will be prepared and planned in workshops at the Vocational Schools for Social Pedagogy. Subsequently, the projects will be methodically evaluated. Our participating students can broaden their horizon of experience especially concerning pedagogical concepts, as well as national and international educational systems. The participants will make various experiences which strengthen their personality and which will improve their educational skills.A sustainable benefit is created by the enhancement and expansion of the language and action competence of the future social assistants. This also leads to better integration chances on the national and international job markets.
