Sparkles of change is an EVS project of 12 months (from September 2016to August 2017), in Frattamaggiore (Naples), in southern Italy.The two volunteers will be engaged in:1) Support the staff in the planning, starting and promotion of a program of performances at the "TAV - Theatre Animation Visions" at the Youth Center "Il Cantiere" of Frattamaggiore (NA).The Youth Centre is located in Vico VI Durante, in Frattamaggiore (NA), close to the main square and the city center. It is a reference point for young people living in the area between North Naples and South Caserta.Actually it has more than 1.600 young members. Several youth organizations active in theater, music, volunteering, culture in "Il cantiere"."Il Cantiere" hosts also several initiatives of Frattamaggiore "Forum Giovani", and initiatives against mafia."2) Support to theater, arts and cultural workshopsLinked the activities of the "TAV - Theatre Animation Visions" will organize theater, arts and cultural workshops, Theatre of the Oppressed and Living Theatre workshops too, to combine art, culture and social activities.3) Support to the action "Europe Desk" to promote Erasmus+ and EVS among young people in Campania.4) Support the management of international workcamps, the office of international voluntary service and their promotion. Volunteers will manage, together with the staff of the office, the hosting and sending of international volunteers and the database for the management of the fields of international volunteering.5) Active collaboration as staff members at Youth Center "Il Cantiere" , supporting, organizing and promoting socializing activities and workshops artistic and expressive language. Volunteers will organize in cooperation with local young people workshops, seminars and conferences related to intercultural, democracy, intercultural education, respect for the environment, to the legality and civil coexistence, both as promoters of beneficiaries;6) Organization events of territorial animation aimed to raising citizens' awareness on issues of social and cultural interest.Every Tuesday and Thursday volunteers attend a course of Italian language and culture.Volunteers will be involved in "Il Cantiere" activities from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. 7) To support sports and recreational-educational paths for children at the Sport center "Rossini" of Frattamaggiore.8) At "Il Cantiere", they will support and participate in Virtual Mobility workshops, using social networks and metaverses (like Second Life)Methodology of non-formal education will be use in all activities, and volunteers will live their experience and they'll self-assest and re-think the skills, with scheduled times during the project and again after EVS.These activities aim to establish processes that involve volunteers and young people of the area, to create sustainable initiatives of promotion of youth mobility, active citizenship and culture.EVS project aims at develope skills to enable volunteers to grow-up as European citizens, with more opportunities for participation, employment and civic awareness.
