The present project will take place in Solna (Sweden) and involves a volunteer from Spain who will spend 10 months working in the project. The volunteer will focus on youth participation and the difussion of the activities of the Youth Centre and learning mobility projects.. Solna Youth Café is a municipaly youth service addressed to young people (16-21 years old). Here young people find an open café environment, with a wide selection and low prices. Young people can relax, socialize, read, listen to music, connect to the Internet, borrow a computer, play video games, watch movies, create, developing their area of interest, given the opportunity to realize their ideas, and establish national and international contacts Solna Youth Centre strives to capture and create the conditions that young people want, with special focus on youth culture and youth participation. Solna Youth Café is open for all young people. This inclusion means also that young people with educational needs are very wellcome to our center. We have around 14-15 of this youngster coming to us in a regular basis and we have special activities for them. Solna Youth Café aims to inspire young people to stand up for what they are and for what they believe in - and to express it. A team of 9 youth workers with differents skills and knowlodges work together to support the young peoples development and to give them the ownership of the project. The project will develop Ericka in a personal and a professional level, giving her opportunity to become a better EU-citizen (knowledge, engagement and participation).
