Start date: May 5, 2015,
End date: Nov 4, 2015
PROJECT
FINISHED
In total 30 participants and 5 stuff (trainers, facilitators and coordinator) attended this project, they were, presidents of organizations (Italy, Moldova, and Poland), representatives of ministries (Georgia), decision makers within NGO's (Ukraine, Spain) youthworkers and people with business/economy education backgrounds from throughout Europe. To provide a greater experience pool, gender balance was observed and participants with prior project experience were given higher priority because of the nature and complexity of the theme.
The activities undertaken were a training course in a remote rural area with professional guidance from two certified trainers during which they covered the practical and theoretical inputs relevant to the objectives through non-formal education methods, business models such as "Dragon dreaming" etc. Furthermore, a study visit was conducted to a local social entrepreneurship company "Humana Nova" (the leading and first social enterprise in Croatia) one afternoon during which the director of the company gave a lecture, a tour of the facilities and answered PAX questions after which PAX had a chance to interact with the employees or support the company through purchasing merchandize.
The results and impact attained are marked predominantly through the intellectual output of the "Booklet" which is a guide to organizing projects on this theme, theoretical and practical knowledge, examples etc. which was created by the participants and trainers as a main dissemination product. Other than that the participants created a photo campaign.
The long-term benefits are tied to the success of the Booklet which is proffessional and relevant and its true reach has yet to be seen.
Other than that, an NGO in Armenia was established encouraged by our TC, social enterprise in Poland (snail farm), workshops and conferences were organized at least once in every country (in Georgia one of the workshops were done in Georgian Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sport, between employees and Humana Nova products that participants bought will ensure visibility of this project.
