The Project „Snapshot of European Citizenship” is an international youth exchange aimed to help young people to understand what is European citizenship and rise their feeling of belonging to European society. The group in the age of 18-25 will come from Poland, Germany, Romania, Croatia, Spain, Italy and Hungary. Each national group will consist of five participants and one youth leader.
The main aim of the project will be reached by: getting to know approaches of young people towards European Union citizenship, rising knowledge about EU institutional system and duties and rights of EU citizens, providing basic skills in photography, creating a photo exhibition “EUROPE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD” , which will be presented in every participating country.
During the exchange we will work with the methodology of non-formal learning. Group discussions, simulation games and workshops will create a space to exchange knowledge and experience among participants. We will work with photography as a main tool of the project. While searching “signs of Europe” in our neighborhood we will create an photo exhibition showing what does European citizenship mean to young people. The exhibition will be shown after the exchange in every participating country.
