The Youth Exchange “Small steps, big impact! Youth multipliers for human rights education in action – Volume II” is following the development of an 2009 started project line by our association “Mreža” which was dedicated to the promotion of peer education in different fields of youth work, especially in the field of Human Rights Education (HRE) include. previous projects as the TC “Get up now! A training course for youth multipliers in human rights education”, (2010), the YE “Click together” (2010) and the YE “Small steps, big impact! Youth multipliers for human rights education in action” (2011). Following these projects the present Youth Exchange “Small steps, big impact! Youth multipliers for human rights education in action – Volume II” will apply the gained experiences and to share with young participants the ideas, concepts and strategies of human rights education. The project will offer the possibility to young people from programme countries and neighbouring partner countries from South Eastern Europe to exchange, to discuss and to experience the meaning of Human Rights and to share a personal understanding of them nowadays with the aim to support Human Rights in Europe sustainably. Using different non-formal methods, working in mixed groups, combining exercises, simulations, role plays, inputs, presentations and discussions, group & team building games, excursion, roundtable and street actions will assure the benefit for every single participant. All chosen methods of non-formal education, such as experiential learning and learning from each other are designed to draw primarily on the existing experience and knowledge of the participants. The YE will take place in Kljuc, Bosnia-Herzegovina 25.08.-04.09.2012 hosted by the association “Mreža” from Gradiška with the support of project promoters from programme countries and neighbouring partner countries from South Eastern Europe.
