Why This project?The influence of where we grow up and Where we have lived stays with us for all of our lives? It sticks to our back as a birth mark. It is history, it is the past and it contributes to our future. Specifically if you grew up in urban cities. There is a rich mix of cultures and a richer mix of personal stories. Urban cities are lively and can completely fulfil all 5 senses of human beings.Communities in these cities have challenges and have opportunities as well. Young people have their own community in these cities, they build their own spaces and they fight for their place among the crowd. Objectives of (Sketch, Record, Scan and Post):Is to use Art as a tool for stimulating Creativity and critical thinking to develop new ideas solutions based on the needs of young people in multicultural urban cities. This will be achieved by:1- Develop their critical thinking and their problem solving skills in a context that is related to them and that effects their day to day life. 2- We support their right to speak out load and announce dreams and denounce fears publicly using Online platforms. 3- Offer the Art of Croquis (Sketching) as a tool to be used for self-expression. 4- Foster the creativity of young people and encourage participation in local level. 5- Foster their sense of Initiative by posting their opinion of change publicly. 6- Know more about the history of our cities and raise awareness of our surroundings.7- Learn about multi culturally in the context and specificity of Euroméditerranée region. Project has two activities:1- 2 days APV + 2 travel days in January 2017. This activity is for the Project core team which will include 1 group leaders from each partner + 1 Facilitator + 1 Sketching Trainer + 1 Project Coordinator. Total= 6 participants in the activity.Activities and Methodologies:- visiting locations for work and the accommodation where practice and show will happen- meeting local partners who will disseminate the results and will help to promote for the project- round table discussions on the activities of the youth exchange and how to ensure maximum participation from the participants and also to include open spaces for them to propose activities. - sharing expectations from the selected youth participants from each country to consider during making the schedule- leadership and youth coaching sessions 2- 13 days youth exchange + 2 travel days in March 2017 (During Spring School Break).6 participants from each partner + 1 Team leaders from Each partner + 1 Facilitator + 1 Sketching Trainer + 1 Project Coordinator.Total= 24 participants in the activity.Activities and Methodologies:- Non formal education methods to share dreams and hopes - practical experience on Sketching tools- Simulation games and Forum theatre- Cultural visits and intercultural dialogue - Field Visits and outdoor trips- team building and group dynamics- Self expression and personal reflection- evaluation APV for 1 Team Leader from each partner: As agreed with our partners, Team leaders will be chosen from the pool of youth leaders from each partner and to have these qualities:To be active in Youth work in their home towns. To have experience in leading young people into a learning experience.To be experienced in Mobility programs.To have some knowledge about sketching. Team leaders will be selected by the partner organisations who already have these competences and it won’t be a problem to select 1 leaders.Participants of the Youth Exchange is more open:1- Living or grew up in these home Cities or its suburbs ( Marseille, Alexandria, Barcelona) 2- Motivated and interested in sketchingSelection will be based on motivation and interest in mobility experience. For the youth exchange specifically we will encourage the participation of young people with fewer opportunities such as:1- Syrian Youngsters who have been living in Marseille for almost 5 years.2- Egyptian Youngsters living in Alexandria who do not have access to Mobility projects due to lack of opportunities, economical difficulties, or social exclusion. 3- Second Generation Migrants who were born in Barcelona and Marseille and lack opportunities of participation in local communities outside of their circles. Dissemination Plan:A- Online platform (Premitive website): To post sketches and recordingsB- Bokra sawa’s Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq4UtisCMnwNroxJy1jmKHg) and all social media pages of partner organisations :To post videos of working and outputsC- Printouts hard copies of the sketches and Exhibition: To promote for the outputs and tools on the ground and answer to questions and demands of the guests.
