The proposed mobility plan has been designed for training of executives and human resources managers of SME’s involved in Private Construction and Public Works, regarding proper management of materials derived from such projects. The amount of waste generated by various construction jobs (construction and demolition) is about 5 million tons annually. Considering that, the Prefecture of Elia does not have an organized alternative waste management system that is approved by the National Recycling Organization, management of such material is carried out in fragments, causing significant environmental problems, due to uncontrolled disposal of waste. The aim of this program is to educate and train participants in avoiding environmental disasters, through development and establishment of an alternative way to manage construction, earthworks and demolition waste. Potential beneficiaries of the proposed mobility scheme are executive, production, human resources and technical managers in small and medium enterprises operating in the construction and earthworks industry, carrying the responsibility to educate staff towards sustainability and growth. The program will be implemented with the participation of 30 trainees, who will stay abroad for 15 days.
