Синхронизиране на българския обучителен опит с европейския в архитектурната реставрация

Topic of the project: “Synchronization of Bulgarian and European teaching experience with regard to architectural restoration”
Project goals:
1.Enhancing of the teachers’ educational experience as well as the quality of teaching through acquiring and transferring of the European experience in teaching with regard to “Architectural restoration”
2.Development of personal qualities like communication skills, social awareness and integration in new environment.
3.Improvement of the project capacity of the administrative as well as teaching staff of the vocational school.
4.Improvement of the language skills of the participants in the selected field – architectural restoration.
5.Development of the capacity, attractiveness and international relationship of VSCAG “P. Penev” through staff qualification in a different European organization, offering Vocational Education.
6.Improvement of the administrative potential of the staff aimed at planning, organizing and performing training in the new specialty “Architectural restoration.”
7.Adoption of the European approach in knowledge validation in informal and home studying of the new specialty “Architectural restoration.”
8.Offers new opportunities for the participants to have a successful career in the job, to be job-fit and competitive after acquiring the new knowledge and professional training.
Number and profile of the participants: The group of participants includes 8 members – both teaching and administrative staff at VSCAG “P. Penev”. The project participants are vocational training teachers: architects, designers, artists, construction engineers, computer specialists, professional training and language tutors. The administrative staff taking part in the mobility will include: members of the school management, administration, accountancy and technical departments.
Description of activities:
1.Informing the potential participants.
2.Criteria setting and selection.
3.Pre-education and training.
4.Forming a team for performing the project.
5.Organisation of the mobility.
6.Realisation of a 2-week mobility, which will involve topics, such as:
-studying the structure of the teaching process in theoretical and practical vocational training at RBC in the field of “Architectural restoration”
-new school programmes and educational methods
-planning, organizing and realizing the teaching process in a new profession
-business visits at companies
-attending lessons in restorer training
-visits at restoration sites
-studying the system of knowledge validation in informal or home studying
-State Educational Standard for restorer training
-discussion on the mobility results
-validation of the newly-acquired knowledge and skills
-opportunities for future partnership, etc.

Description of results and predicted impact: After the realization of the project, the participants will acquire:
1.New knowledge and skills for using and implementation of the European experience with regard to the teaching of the new specialty “Architectural restoration”, which will respectively enhance the quality of the vocational training.
2.Personal qualities: communicational skills, tolerance, integration and work within new environment, teamwork skills, social and language skills, self-esteem.
3.New methodical and organizational knowledge and skills to facilitate the education in the new specialty.
4.New opportunities for employment, competitiveness and career.
5.New formal and informal contact with the partners aimed at development of the good practices and future project cooperation.
6.Improved project capacity of the administrative and teaching staff of the vocational school.
7.Improved administrative potential of staff for planning, organization and realization of teaching the new specialty “Architectural restoration”.
8.New knowledge of the European practice in validation of skills on informal and home studying in the new specialty “Architectural restoration”
9.Teaching experience to help gaining skill impeccability.
Potential long-term advantages:
1.Offering students from Ruse and the Ruse region high-quality vocational education in the new specialty “Architectural restoration”.
2.Availability for staff, trained at VSCAG “P. Penev”, to maintain, restore and preserve the architectural monuments in Ruse District.
3.Qualification of labour force in the region amongst both employed and unemployed persons, interested in the opportunities for career development.
4.Validation for both employed and unemployed persons of their skills and knowledge, acquired through informal and home studying.
