European Voluntary Service is an important tool for the development of competencies of young people and could be helpful in their success in the labor market. We believe that volunteers and sending and hosting EVS organizations need a professional help and support, for utilization of the potential in EVS. Our long-term aim is to prepare Slovak and Czech strategic partnership aimed as a systematic specialized assistance for volunteers and organizations involved in the EVS. The aim of this project is to organize, for the relevant actors, a contact making seminar, with purpose to prepare the materials and documents for the development of Slovak – Czech strategic partnership project. The strategic partnership project for participants from Slovakia and the Czech Republic focused on developing competencies of EVS volunteers and the professionalization of organizations involved in the EVS.
