2 Youngsters from vzw Tonuso and/or (her) project Leerrecht Brussel/KLIK will go on short therm EVS to CreACTive in Macedonia. These youngsters (and their family) are in guidance in Tonuso vzw or have a track in Leerrecht Brussel/KLIK because of school problems. They have the need to get away from their curent situation and expend their bounderies. This will give them the chance to take a break and reflect about themselves. Because this is the first cooperation between Tonuso vzw and CreACTive, one member of the projectteam (as communicator with the youngsters and families) and one staffmember (to represent the whole organisation) of Tonuso are going to make a preparation visit to the hostorganisation and the hostfamily. Then we will get to know the organisation, the mentor of the volunteers, the hostfamily and will overflow further practical agreements (communication, what if there are problems,...) They will go each individualy, for one month. The data can still change, because we want to be sure we send the right youngsters and when they aply to us for this project, we want to use one month of preparation in Belgium. In this period we will take time to prepare them (in colaboration with the family) mentaly and practicaly for this journey. We will ask them which activities they would like to participate in the most and we will communicate this with the hostorganisation. When the youngsters can start their adventure in Macedonia, their aid/project- worker accompanies them for their first day there. This to 'break the ice', to overflow the agreement between the youngster and CreACTive with the mentor, to overflow the youthpass, to make a timeschedule with moments for communication between Tonuso, the mentor and the youngster and to meet the hostfamily. The second day the youngster start their own proces and the aid/project- worker goos home. CreACTive, has experienced EVS Coordinator, and a youth worker, who is in charge of the project activities and professional support for the volunteers. Once a week (if needed even more) the coordinator will have an individual meeting with the volunteer, according to the quality of the project and development of the project activities. Also, the volunteer will have a mentor for personal support, and reinforced mentorship, with who will also, meet at least once a week, for personal support, and reinforced mentoring sessions and evaluating the learning outcomes, and for introduction of the Youthpass. Most of the time, the volunteers will work in the youth club located in the city center. The club is open from Monday to Saturday, from 11:00 to 21:00. Around 200 teenagers and young people are members of the club and come to spend their free time where are proposed every day different types of activities for free in the fields of arts, culture, language courses, use of computers, sports, theatre, media, inter-cultural nights, games... The actual activities will be discussed with the youngster and the mentor, "tailor made". We organise a new round table conversation to guidance the traject after EVS. We evaluate what the youngster has learned, positive or negative experiences, possibility of going back to school/work,... We will fill in the Youthpass with the youngster and share the experiences with parents, school, CLB, ...
