PROJECT
FINISHED
The project was entitled SHOOOTIT! according to suggestion of one student member of Manažerská Akademie Film club. It originates in the concept of non-formal, rather creative education and that´s why it was also entitled in such informal way. Its original idea dates back to the early summer of 2014 when the film club members came out with the prospect of a possible international mobility where their creative visions would be shared with organisations of similar kind and interest from other EU countries.
Later on, Filip Konvalinka as the leader of the film club decided to help these students to make it happen, addressed few schools from abroad and received positive feedback from two secondary schools from Croatia and Greece. Together and in cooperation with the possible learners´ participants, they established a detailed plan of the future project, stating its objectives to be increase of filmmaking skills, foreign language comptences, awareness of the EU countries and cultures, and started building up a set of activities to be done to reach them, mainly shooting short, amateur motion pictures. They invented a proposition of several videos to be done before the mobility itself by each participating country, involving methods of groupwork and team cooperation in them. They brought in the topics of national identities and unemployment to show their current interests and needs, both put into a frame of narrating stories concept. These activities supported participants to develop their ability to understand contemporary society.
Total number of participants involved was 45 and included 42 students aged 13-18, and three adult group leaders, professional youth workers.
The results of this project have a positive impact especially on the learners, increasing their cooperative skills at international level, bringing innovative methods and practices into their environments.
