Project “Sharing is caring” is multilateral youth exchange with focus on youth unemployment with the aim to analyze this problem in context of different cultures. Partners of this project are from Macedonia, Portugal and Estonia, allowing to reflect the topic from different angles and demonstrate the cultural differences and similarities between Balkan, Mediterranean and Baltic countries. The aim of this project is to create fresh and realistic ideas through sharing experiences and practices to support the coping of European youth on labour market and thereby upholding their general wellbeing. From each country there will be 8 persons, with 7 participants and 1 group leader. In total there will be 24 participants. Participants are youth leaders (age 23-30) who are actively in contact with young people. Non-formal learning methods will be used throughout the whole project, for example topics discussions, problem solving simulations, living library etc). The expected result of this project is broadening the perception of problem and advanced contact with youth. As the participants are youth leaders, we expect that obtained knowledge and experiences will be carried to participant’s local community. Created network allows to develop follow up and continuous international activities. “Sharing is caring” takes place from 24th of July til 1st of August 2014 in Struga, Macedonia, and working language of this project is English.
