SEVAQ (Self-Evaluation for Quality) – European self evaluation tool for e-learning: how to improve quality of VET

The SEVAQ project aims at improving quality of VET courses offered in Open and Distance Learning, e-learning and blended learning. In order to reach this aim the project will involve ODL, e-learning and blended learning training providers in a working process so to obtain and to improve self evaluation tools to be used to collect and analyse customers’ feedback and by this way improve quality in VET. Firstly the project will collect the tools used locally, it will than produce a first draft of a multifunctional European self evaluation questionnaire which will be implemented and improved by the contribution of a wide thematic network selected by partnership. End results of the project will be represented by a multilingual questionnaire for self evaluation and a special website on self evaluation. To encourage the use of self evaluation tools, dissemination activities will be based on the special website, the respective websites of project’s partners, folders and posters in the local national languages, guided session with selected groups of users, press articles, participation at European conferences and presentation. The direct beneficiaries of the project are the providers of vocational training; trainees and students will also benefit of the expected improvement of quality in ODL training.
