Special education and handicapped life is a field that still has not found required interest, care and professionality. Our project’s main purpose is to provide this field. İn our highly equipped school , we also aim to increase our professional sufficiency in special education field and to use reformer education styles and techniques. We think that in special education different ways and techniques can be improved for integration of individuals with society basing artificial activities. Improving social adaptation and communication will make their lives meaningful for handicapped and will help easing families’ worries. We foresee being more successful on communication and serving effective and permanent education with the help of abroad courses that we will participate within the Project. In this project experimental learning, project based learning and individual learning methods and techniques will be used. In activities that will be performed in our project mostly practical activities and teorical information about painting and music will be acquired in mentally retarded and different methods will be taught that students can use visual-aural senses at the same time. We specified 9 teachers; that we think they will provide contribution; painting and music teachers, our counseling teacher and 6 classroom teachers. For abroad educations that we are planning to have, our teachers are open for learning and improving, vision holder, productive and extremely eager. Also our teachers will enlarge their visions culturally and will introduce our culture.
