Project “Seniors' Health Care in Europe“ is dedicated to 14 Students of Health Care Vocational School in Zvolen and its goal is to give the students the possibility to obtain new practical skills in the field of providing health and social in EU country and also to acquire professional Certificates that will open new and wider work possibilities in Europe. Project will be developed in Málaga (Spain), in May and June 2017. Innovation in the project is cooperation of the Secondary Health School in Malaga that the beneficiaries of the project will visit and they will see theoretical and practical educational process in European country. Students will meet students and teachers from this school and will discuss the way of teaching and learning, subjects and organization of the practices in the health care institutions in Spain. Whole world lack of qualified nurse assistants is reflected in the great number of vacant work positions in Europe. The main objectives of the project are: 1. To help the students of Health care vocational school integrate to the European labour market after they finish their studies and open new possibilities to develop their professional, language and social competencies. 2. To ensure possibility to acquire high quality professional preparation in the form of practical and language skills during practical placements in selected seniors residences in Spain. 3. To support European training dimension for Slovak students, to enable to study languages of EU, to understand European culture and support international cooperation between schools, institutions and companies. The project is fulfilling the following specific students´ NEEDS: 1. Professional needs to increase the qualification and obtain new competencies in EU countries. 2. Need to obtain practical skills during one month practice 3. Need to obtain language skills. After finishing language school students have opportunity to apply their language skills in practice, directly in the working place, where they have unique opportunity to communicate with “natives”. 4. Need of the cultural and international recognition: Students have opportunity to learn about new country, new culture as well as the new way of life in this country, new people that will contribute to their personal development.
