Nowadays we consider poverty as influencing factors in globalization, unemployment, economic crisis, lack of education and capacity, poor culture and the development of individual skills. We are currently facing with global issues related to poverty along with social problems and their negative consequences. In many cases, poverty leads to exclusion, violence, crime, ghettoes and slums, and residential or gender discrimination. Furthermore, poverty is one of the main reasons of domestic violence, family break ups or depression among family members. In the youth exchange program youngsters were involved from 4 countries. By implementing the project, our aim was to raise the youngsters' awareness of the topic, pay attention to realizing the problems and in order to solve the problems, put stress on their expected duties, social activities and responsibility. Furthermore, we wanted to raise the society's attention too to the problems caused by poverty, and we wanted to urge them for active participation. In the long run, we set the aim of urging the youngsters for being active in their duties that they should do something for their environment, themselves, community and a better life. They have to feel the weight of their decisions and the consequences of their actions; hence in this way they will become active, responsible and doer citizens. The exchange was implemented in Levelek, and each organization sent 9 youngsters for participation. The participants were between 15 and 24 and the majority came from a disadvantaged situation. During the exchange non-formal pedagogical methods were used, in this way the youngsters were developed. Out of these, methods that are based on art fields, such as art therapy, music and dance pedagogy or drama pedagogy were stressed and used. By the end of the exchange, the youngsters created a play in the topic of poverty, and this play was used as a base for a short film. This short film is able to form the views of the society.
