“Seeds of Change” is a group EVS project targeting 30 youngsters with fewer opportunities () from Denmark. The service will be carried out for two weeks in Vietnam and aims at facilitating the social inclusion of the marginalized youth in both, sending and hosting countries. The service will encourage the target group to participate active in the local society and stimulate their active citizenship. During their service, the volunteers will design and implement 12 workshops targeting 180 local youngsters who, alike the volunteers, have also fewer opportunities. The workshops will incorporate non formal methods and are peer-to-peer oriented. They will enable beneficiaries to recognize the problems in their communities and empower them to bring a change into local society. The project will give volunteers reflections upon their potential and an experience of being resourceful in spite of their fewer opportunities.
